As soon as you register in our E-Learning platform, you will receive your access codes in your E-Mail box and you will be able to watch them, for 12 months, from the confort of your own house.

The access codes to make your Login, will be delivered in the moment you buy your first course.

You will also gain access to an exclusive communication line for the WSEI students, through wich you will be permited to submit your questions directly to our teachers, having this way a personalized attention, no mather where in the world you are.

To complement your training, we have designed for you 2 mandatory classroom modules at our institute.

Developed exclusively for the e-learning trainees, these 2 modules have a theoretical part with the synthesis of the subjects addressed in the e-learning modules, the clarification of doubts and seminars with the trainees’ clinical cases, as well as a practical part with the colocation and activation of the appliances in patients.

General Objectives:

At the end of this full course, trainees will be able to:
• Assume Functional Jaw Orthopedics as a specialty that diagnoses, prevents and treats malocclusions and temporomandibular dysfunction;
• Recognize the importance of treating malocclusions in a multidisciplinary concept;
• Acquire in-depth knowledge to diagnose, prevent and treat malocclusions;
• To apply functional orthopedic techniques and their respective appliances in the treatment of malocclusions;
• To know composition, activation and indication of functional orthopedic appliances.

Specific Objectives:

 At the end of this full course, trainees will be able to:
• Obtain knowledge to diagnose, prevent and treat malocclusions;
• Obtain knowledge that allows them to treat temporomandibular pain and dysfunction;
• Apply functional orthopedic techniques and their respective appliances in the treatment of malocclusions;
• Recognize the importance of treating malocclusions in a multidisciplinary concept;
• Correctly identify the principles, characteristics and mechanisms of action of functional orthopedic appliances;
• Perform a correct diagnosis of the clinical case through the specific diagnostic methods of Functional Jaw Orthopedics;
• Identify preventive methods for malocclusions;
• Through the analysis of clinical cases, correctly identify which appliances are indicated for the treatment of each type of malocclusion;
• Identify the main appliances used in the treatment of temporomandibular pain and dysfunction;
• Write a prescription for an appliance;
• Identify the professionals involved in the multidisciplinary treatment of malocclusions.
