Course General objective/ Competences to be acquired

• To endow professionals with knowledge about Functional Jaw Orthopedics and its appliances.
• To provide information on the indications and composition of various functional orthopedics appliances and to practise their construction.

Educational Strategic Objective:

At the end of this full course, trainees will be able to:
• To know the mechanisms of action and basic characteristics of Functional Jaw Orthopedics;
• To know the mechanisms of action of the different functional orthopedic appliances;
• To know the indications for the different functional orthopedic appliances;
• To know how to trace the models for the construction of functional orthopedic appliances;
• To know and correctly interpret the prescription for a functional orthopedic appliance;
• To know the composition and activation of the different functional orthopedic appliances;
• To know how to make various functional orthopedic appliances
