Objetives:
This course aims to deepen your knowledge in Orthodontics, providing the trainees with skills to diagnose, plan, and perform orthodontic treatments. It seeks to integrate the philosophy of Functional Jaw Orthopedics with current techniques in fixed orthodontics and aligners, promoting multidisciplinary clinical practice in children and adults.
Educational Strategic Objective:
- Perform orthodontic diagnosis and prognosis of different types of malocclusions;
- Plan and carry out treatments using fixed orthodontics and aligners;
- Select the appropriate techniques and protocols according to the patient’s age and needs;
- Understand the indications, advantages, and limitations of the different orthodontic approaches;
- Integrate digital planning principles and new technologies in the treatment;
- Develop multidisciplinary treatment plans, ensuring stability and predictability of results;
- Apply strategies for contention and management of relapses in orthodontics.
