General objectives / Competences to be acquired
At the end of this full course, trainees will be able to:
• Deepen your knowledge about specific diagnosis in Myofunctional Therapy and treatment planning with Functional Orthopedic Appliances (FOAs);
• Deepen your knowledge about Orofacial Motricity assessment;
• Deepen your knowledge about intervention sequence and priorities.
Educational Strategic Objective:
At the end of this full course, trainees will be able to:
• Know and evaluate the interaction of orofacial structures (form) and stomatognathic functions (function), in order to define a correct diagnosis and the appropriate moment of the therapeutic intervention;
• Deepen your knowledge about the sequence and intervention priorities in patients with FOAs;
• Actively participate in the Institute’s and trainees’ clinical case discussion seminars.
