Airport
The city of Lisbon is served by Portela Airport, located near the city center 5 km from the venue.
Taxi
There are two taxi stations at the airport. A terminal outside of the “Arrivals” and another outside the terminal of the “Departures”. The taximeter should mark € 3,25 (daytime) or € 3,90 (night period). Outside the city limits the route is charged per Km traveled. An additional fee of € 1,60 is charged for carrying cases or animals. Before you take the taxi ask how much will be the trip. Some 7 places taxis charge more for the same route. You can also purchase a “Taxi Voucher” at the counter of the informations in the arrivals terminal. Prices are fixed and depend on the area of town where you’re going (the minimum price is about € 16.40).
Subway
The Airport has a subway station – “Airport” – Red Line, which is the most practical to use public tranport (€ 1,45).
Bus
There are several buses passing at the airport. The numbers and destination of the bus are:
N. 208: Cais do Sodré – Airport – East Station
N. 705: Middle station – Airport – Roma-Areeiro station
Arriving by Train
The main train stations in Lisbon are: “Sta Apolonia Station” and “Oriente Station”, with international links (Lisbon-Madrid-Paris and Lisbon-Oporto-Vigo).
They have links with Subway lines (“Sta Apolonia – Blue Line and” Oriente”- Red Line)
Arriving by Car
Major highways to get to Lisbon: From the North take the A1. From East use the A6 and A23 and then A1. From South use the A2.
